Rev. Blok (1914 – 1976) was a minister of the Reformed Churches in the Netherlands (liberated). Rev. Blok was born in the Netherlands and he completed his seminary studies at the Theological University of the Reformed churches in Kampen, the Netherlands. He served four congregations in his 35 years of ministry. Rev. Blok emphasized in his preaching, teaching, and writing, the desire of God to have communion with his people, and the importance of his covenant with believers. He was also a careful exegete in his interpretation of scripture.
